Jaipur Rides With Rathore: A Big Step Toward a Fitter, Healthier Rajasthan
Jaipur witnessed a vibrant and energetic morning as Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Rajasthan’s Cabinet Minister and Youth Affairs & Sports Minister, led a large community Cycling Ride under the Fit India Movement. The initiative injected new enthusiasm into the city, reinforcing Rathore’s vision of building a healthy, disciplined, and fitness-focused Rajasthan.
The event was organized with inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India vision, along with the guidance of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. Their collective focus on fitness, preventive healthcare, and youth empowerment shaped the spirit of the ride.
Addressing participants, Col. Rathore said that a healthy society forms the backbone of a strong nation. As an Olympian and former Union Sports Minister, he emphasized that cycling is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to adopt an active lifestyle. He added that the initiative aligns directly with the Prime Minister’s Healthy India – Fit India mission and strengthens Rajasthan’s commitment to youth development, well-being, and community fitness.
Col. Rathore also urged citizens to make physical activity a daily habit—whether through cycling, yoga, sports, or walking—and inspire their families and neighbourhoods to do the same. As the Jhotwara MLA, he continues to promote sports infrastructure, healthy habits, and youth engagement through various public programs and fitness campaigns across his constituency.
The Cycling Ride witnessed overwhelming participation from youth, senior citizens, athletes, cycling groups, and local residents. Their collective presence showcased a powerful message: Jaipur is ready to embrace a healthier, more energetic future under the leadership of Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
